Isometric Focused Full Body Workout
Isometric exercises are exercises where one contracts a particular muscle/muscle group without notable change in the focus muscle’s length nor change in the primary joint angle. For example, pushing a solid brick wall. Your muscles are turned on, they’re working, but unless you’re Superman, you ain’t going anywhere; your muscle length and joint angles stay consistent throughout the push (contraction).
Isometric exercises help build stability, maintain strength, and can also build strength (but not as much as your traditional concentric/eccentric contraction exercises).
